Privacy Policy

Roam (iroam.city) is a private, invite-only app for sharing travel plans between friends. This page explains what we store and why β€” in plain words, because there's nothing complicated to hide.

What we store

Your email address and name (used to sign you in and show who you are to your friends), and anything you choose to add: a profile photo, your home base, the city you're currently in, trips, messages, checklist items and photos on trips. If you enable notifications, we store a push token for your device. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google β€” nothing else.

Who can see it

Only members of Roam you are directly connected with can see your profile and trips. There is no public feed, no search engine indexing of your content, and no friends-of-friends visibility. The sign-in page shows a handful of anonymous city names from upcoming open trips β€” never names, never who is going.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with anyone, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other sites. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Map tiles are loaded from public map providers; place search uses OpenStreetMap data via Photon.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile details anytime, disconnect from any friend, delete your trips, and turn notifications off per device. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email login@iroam.city and it will be done.
